Doug Murren
Seasoned church leader, communicator, pastor, artist and evangelist — Doug is settling in for what he is calling “my final stop in ministry, live radio.” Doug has had acclaimed radio shows in the past and has coached thousands of churches in evangelism, while also holding conversion records in his own ministry with several groups. But, as he says, “Who’s counting?”
Doug is the former pastor and founder of Eastside Foursquare Church, Kirkland WA, and is also a former lead pastor for the Free Methodist and regular part of the life of several other groups denominational and non-denominational. He has taught seminary, led crusades and helped reshape (as a consultant) numerous Christian organizations.
But Doug is known mostly for his love of the call to communicate, mentoring many of the great communicators of our time. He presently leads the Murren Group which presents live evangelism events and does consultation with churches in the area of increasing their evangelism dynamic and skill.
Gary Verrill
Gary worked with Doug Murren as his music director in numerous capacities as today for well over 20 years. Gary is what is called a “first call” studio and live musician. He is the keyboardist for Franklin Graham events and a long list of noted settings for worship and powerful inspirational music. Gary helps keep Doug on track and ads insights from the arena of the arts and how people really hear today.
Caleb Quaye
Caleb was the first guitarist with Elton John. He is a graduate of Fuller Seminary and former worship director of Church on The Way Van Nuys. Caleb is also noted by Eric Clapton as being the best guitarist in the world. But Caleb is also a savvy and studied commentator on the state of the church in the World today in the areas of worship and ministry designs.
Dr. Al-Aakhir Rogers
Dr. Rogers is a PH D in nano-physics who lives in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Rogers is a young church leader. He and Doug met while Doug has residence in Tampa, Florida. And when it came time to do the show Doug said, “it can’t be done without an accomplished apologist and scientist we need Dr. Rogers. He is in your life, a dynamic youth leader and scientist of the highest levels.”
The show includes a creative blend of the team as well as guest interviews along with Doug’s live messages. Topics always revolve around finding faith and removing obstacles to faith in your live.
Doug says, “I am addicted to introducing people to Christ. The first time I shared my faith nearly 100 students came to Christ as I had to have a more seasons person explain how to ‘close the deal.’ Since then I have tried to master the understanding of how lives open up to the power of God in their life.”
